'White Bird Mail List'

Welcome to "White Bird", an e-mail list for discussing the music of It's A Beautiful Day. The White Bird List has been created for the purpose of establishing a forum under which the music of It's A Beautiful Day and the surviving original members can be discussed. The list is moderated but uncensored and open to all opinions and comments. This service is being offered through Yahoo Groups.

What Is the 'White Bird' List?

The list is an automated e-mail based discussion group, run by JW Anderson, out of the JW's Rock Garden site. You can subscribe, completely free, to the list and receive messages from other subscribers about their thoughts and opinions on the music of It's A Beautiful Day. You can join in and send your own messages, or simply "lurk" and read what others have to say. Members of the list can unsubscribe at any time.

How Do I Post Messages To The List?

Send your message as an e-mail to '[email protected]'. You may want to paste the list address to your address book. When posting try to keep these general criteria in mind...

When posting identify your subject line for threading purposes

If a thread changes, rename the subject line

Use generally accepted email etiquette

How Do I Unsubscribe?

If you no longer wish to receive messages from the list, write to [email protected] or go to the "White Bird' URL 'http://www.egroups.com/group/White-Bird'. If all else fails, email me, and I will remove you from the list.

Have I Missed Anything?

Messages are archived, so if you're not sure you've seen all the messages go to the eGroups site... 'http://yahoo.groups.com' sign in and go to archives.

What Are The Rules For Members Of The List?

The first rule of the list is that there are NO rules! This list is moderated but uncensored. It is my belief that list members are more than capable of carrying on discussions (animated or otherwise) without upsetting anyone. I don't expect to have any problems with "flaming". It may end up that we will want to establish some list rules as we go along, but for now lets just have some fun. I can remove members from the list, but I don't expect that will become necessary.
