The Cactus Cafe Tapes ~ Volume 1 Tape Tree is the 8th in an ongoing series of Shawn Phillips concerts being offered to Shawn's loyal fans. This Cactus Cafe show is the first in a series of 3 shows from the Cactus Cafe in Austin, Texas that will be offered.
This show is from an audience recording in 1988. This Tape Tree will take 2-90 minute tapes and a hearty thank you must be given to Leonard Hough, who provided the seed, and Bill Mercer, the graphics, for this tree.
If you choose to enroll for this tree, you must sign up as either a Branch or a Leaf. Where Branch means you are capable/willing to make copies, and Leaf means you will not be able to make copies.
If I don't get enough volunteers to serve as BRANCHES, the tapes will be
delayed considerably. An added incentive to volunteer as a BRANCH is that when when you enroll as a branch leader, you get the 1st tapes off my tape queue. However, by signing up as a branch you are making a committment and will be expected to follow through.
Enrollment will close on Sunday, May 3, 1998. If you don't enroll by the 3rd, you will have to make other arrangements to get a copy. The TREE STRUCTURE will be posted to this Tape Tree Web Site on May 4th. So make sure you check in to the site from time-to-time after that date.
